[Hong Kong] 5-star buffet @ Harbourside, InterContinental

Looking for a remarkable dinner buffet in Hong Kong? Check out Harbourside at InterContinental Hotel. Not only does it offer a spectacular view of the Victoria Harbour, it also serves a wide range of food including fresh seafood and very impressive desserts! Although the price is more expensive than buffets in other hotels, it is definitely worth a visit!

Below are snapshots of the buffet:

Appetizers

Apart from the usual biscuits, different types of cheese and sushi which most western buffets in town offer, Harbourside has fresh seafood including Lobsters sliced in half, King Prawns, King Crab legs, and more!

The highlights include Freshly Seared Foie Gras/ Beef/ Duck/ Lamb/ Pork. These are all prepared on the spot by the Chef and they taste impeccable!

Fried Scallop is definitely a must eat item! The scallop is soft and it is very fresh, it goes very well with the mushrooms.

Harbourside’s signature buffet definitely won’t be able to impress me if they don’t have this Bird’s Nest Seafood Soup! However, it is quite filling!

Desserts

Definitely the best part of the dinner buffet!! They offer a wide range of Chinese and Western desserts, which one is your favorite? I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves.

My choice

My choice: Make a guess what is inside the dome-shaped dessert with a red flower on the top?
