The Booking Office Bar has got to be one of my favorite bars in London. Situated in the beautifully restored 5- star St.Pancras Renaissance Hotel at Kings Cross Station, it is a striking example of Victorian Gothic architecture. Right beside the hotel is St Pancras International , where you can board the trains to different regions in the UK. You can also take the EuroStar express for a romantic trip to Paris. But for those going to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft, the 9 ¾ platform is something not to be missed!

The Booking Office Bar was originally a ticket office and you can still see the “Booking Office” sign carved in stone in the bar.

For an even more elegant atmosphere ( and if your wallet is still loaded 😛 ), you can walk along the corridor from the Booking Office to the Gilbert Scott. I was immediately captured by the sophisticated bar table, and completely immersed myself into the extensively decorated surroundings. Drinks are quite expensive (menu/prices), but overall I feel that it is worth visiting every once in a while.
